MES Alumni Association (MESAA), launched the first of its “Meet the Alumni” series on 09 March 2023

Mes Alumni Association (MESAA), launched the first of its “Meet the Alumni” series on 09 March 2023, featuring a panel of high achievers from the Alumni. Over 500 twelfth-grade students of MES Indian School attended the event.

The theme of the distinguished event was “Plan Your Future” and mainly constituted the testimonies, experiences, and the progressions achieved by the panelists throughout their careers.

Mr. Vineeth Nambiar, Batch 2001, was the event moderator. He is the founder of Mavericks 365, the first International co-working space in Qatar.

The event was opened by Mr. Shaheen Shafi, Batch of 1995, President of MESAA through a welcome speech, followed by Mr. Fazil Hameed, Batch of 2002, Vice President Of MESAA, who gave an insight into MESAA’s activities. Mr. Nihad Ali, Batch of 2004, Treasurer of MESAA ended the event with the Vote of Thanks.

4. Mrs. Anuja Sawanth, Batch of 2001 – Director of Ernst & Young, Qatar
5. Mrs. Valine Fernandes, Batch of 2005 – Deputy Vice President of Channels & Marketing, Mannai Corporation, Qatar
6. Ms. Ashtami Jith, Batch of 2018 – Radio Jockey at Radio Olive Suno Network
7. Mr. Shafeek Mohammad, Batch of 2001 – Manager, Multitech and Guinness World Record holder
8. Mr. Shaheen Backer, Batch of 2004 – Director, Safari Group

The contribution of MES in their successes and how it influenced the growth in their chosen fields were strongly conveyed by the panelists. They emphasized to the students on how discipline and consistency helped them achieve their goals. The pride they carry to be associated with the school was evident throughout the event.

The event was also addressed by the current principal, Mrs. Hameeda Kader, who congratulated the panelists on their achievements and for being inspirational to the students by sharing their experiences. Furthermore, she highly appreciated MESAA for their consistent efforts in developing the association to the best standards and encouraged to host more of such events. She urged the students to stay connected with MESAA for a plethora of benefits.
